Losing you, a free fall

Rushing air, inverted chest

vacuum sucking, 

gasping.

Then I landed.

Ground reverberating up

through muscular thighs.

Feet planted solid.

Eyes blazing.

I slowly realize…

I nailed the dismount!

And raise victory arms

to the sky.
